• First of all, you’ll have to make the right choice on what stuff is staying and what is going. You see, it could be more affordable to invest in something at your new destination rather than transporting it all the way from back home; think about furniture with high volumes like your sofa.
• Then, there’s the decision on how and with which firm you’re going to transport your things. You could benefit from a moving company, which has employees to pack your things for you.
You could also hire a normal transport company. In that case, you’ll have to get your own pallets and boxes to pack your stuff. These will then be loaded onto the truck and delivered at your new address. This option can be a lot cheaper, but takes a lot more effort.
